My Japanese name is Ichi "that one with wisdom". And also that one who doesn't like wearing socks (ever) but likes to knit them. =)

Alison, I'm with you on the dog thing, but one has to be politic in one's own blog. Now, in someone else's blog comments, that's a different matter...
I love my dog, but I know that his bark can be an annoyance and I try hard to curb him when he gets a bit "barky"

oh good - I felt sort of bad about my dog-bashing comment, but then decided that I couldn't live my life trying to avoid offending people all the time!
(For those of you who don't read Annie's blog, at her wire knitting class yesterday, there were a few small dogs running around, frequently barking annoyingly.)
