Exhibit A:
Upon my return home from work/church today, I spotted these near the end of the driveway. I don't believe they were there yesterday.
Exhibit B:
Sitting at my desk a few minutes later, I witnessed a teenager pick one of these while passing by the house.
Exhibit C:
This counter has never once been clear in the eight months we have lived here. (Seriously.) There are many other markings around the house of spring cleaning: swept floors, scrubbed bathrooms, etc.
It's a miracle.
Spring has sprung.
(Don't we usually go straight from winter into summer?)
Picked a crocus? Don't they know that's immoral? It will die soon enough anyway. That will show him. Blast the impudence of it all.

I'm jealous of your crocus! We get one or two little ones here and there in the yard, but no big bunches like that! Do you think you can come down and spring clean for us? :)
Oh, and I had to tell you (I've been meaning to tell you forever), do you remember the on-line comic you posted ages and ages ago called "Mittens and Snowdrop"? Well, the daughter's friend loved it, and struck up a friendship with the creator, and last year for Faire season, he designed her fairy wings. So, we owe you a thank you for finding it. :)
